5 Local Charities in Montville & Morris County to Support This Holiday Season
This community gives so much. Here are a few wonderful ways we can give back.
One of the biggest reasons I love living and working here in Montville is the incredible sense of community. Especially as the holidays approach, I'm always so inspired by the generosity of my neighbors.
If you're thinking about giving back this season, I wanted to share a few of the wonderful local organizations that are making a real, tangible difference right here in our area. I'm so grateful for the work they do!

Montville Kiwanis
The Kiwanis Club is all about "serving the children of the world," and our local Montville chapter does an amazing job of that right here at home. They sponsor local youth sports, provide scholarships, and run community-building events. Supporting them means you're investing directly in the youth in our community.

Montville Township First Aid Squad
These are our local heroes! The First Aid Squad is a 100% volunteer organization that provides free emergency medical services to Montville, Towaco, and Pine Brook 24/7. They rely entirely on donations to operate their ambulances, buy medical supplies, and train new members. A donation here is a direct investment in our community's health and safety.

Serving all of Morris County (including our neighbors in Montville), the Interfaith Food Pantry provides crucial food and groceries to community members facing financial hardship. The need is especially high during the holidays. You can help by donating food, funds, or even your time as a volunteer. They make it so easy to make a difference for a household in need.

Montville Pet-Stop
We can't forget our furry residents! The Montville Pet-Stop is the volunteer branch of the Montville Animal Shelter. They work tirelessly to care for, socialize, and find loving "forever homes" for stray and surrendered animals. A donation helps cover the cost of food, medical care, and spay/neuter programs. It's a wonderful cause for any animal lover!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morris, Bergen, Passaic & Sussex
This is such a powerful organization that creates one-on-one mentoring relationships for youth. By becoming a "Big" or donating, you help a young person in our area build self-confidence and reach their full potential. The impact of mentorship lasts a lifetime, and it's a beautiful way to give back.
